Rider Dress Code (For Competitors)

1. Helmet

  • Helmets must be full-face and meet recognized safety standards, such as DOT, Snell, or ECE.

  • The chin strap must be securely fastened to reduce the risk of head injury.

  • A protective visor is required to ensure clear visibility and to shield against foreign objects, such as dust or insects.

2. Leather Suit (Impact-Resistant)

  • Riders must wear a full-body suit made of leather or durable synthetic material resistant to abrasion and impact.

  • Critical areas such as knees, elbows, shoulders, and hips must have reinforced padding to prevent injury.

  • The suit must fit snugly and include features to prevent it from coming off during an accident.

3. Gloves

  • Gloves must cover the entire hand and wrist.

  • They should be made of durable materials and have reinforced padding on the palms and fingers to prevent injury.

  • Gloves must be flexible enough to allow precise control of the throttle and brakes.

4. Boots

  • Boots must be high and provide effective protection for the feet and ankles.

  • They should be made of durable materials with reinforced padding at the ankles and heels to prevent injury.

  • The soles must be non-slip and provide good grip when using the foot controls.

5. Additional Safety Equipment

  • Back Protector: Required to protect the spine in case of a fall. Must meet FIM safety standards.

  • Chest Protector: Reduces impact to the chest during a crash.

6. Equipment Inspection

  • Before the race, officials will check all rider equipment to ensure it meets the requirements and is safe for use.

  • If any equipment fails inspection, the rider must repair or replace it before being allowed to race.

7. Recommended Equipment

  • One-piece or two-piece leather suit with connecting zippers.

  • Knee, shin, or elbow guards.

  • Back protection.

Items Prohibited on the Grid: Wearing flip-flops is not allowed in the starting grid area, as it poses a risk of accidents, such as tripping over the track surface or equipment like wheel stands. It also affects the professional image of the event during live broadcasts.
