SUPERBIKEMAG.COM TROPHY 2026

Preparation

Last updated: June 21, 2026

1. Important information. For beginners.

This overview provides essential information, rules, etiquette, and things every new racer needs to know for safety and the best possible experience on the track.

1. Preparing the vehicle.

Focus on the completeness of "security vulnerabilities".“

  • Braking system: The brake pads must have sufficient life left, the brake fluid must not be old, and the brakes must be bled firmly.
  • Tires and tire pressure: Check the tire condition; it shouldn't be hard or brittle. (Adjust tire pressure to the level recommended by the track or manufacturer, which is usually lower than for road riding.)
  • Propulsion system: The chain needs to be cleaned, tensioned properly, and lubricated.
  • liquid: Check the engine oil and coolant levels (replace coolant with water for safety in case of a fall).
  • Detailed recording: Remove the side mirrors and tape over the headlights/taillights/turn signals to prevent glass shards from escaping in case of an accident.

2. What kind of kit do we need?

Race track-level safety standards are "higher" than regular riding.

  • Helmet: It must be a full-face helmet in perfect condition and meet Thai Industrial Standards (TIS) / ECE / SNELL / FIM.
  • Racing suit: We recommend ONE-PIECE or TWO-PIECE style jackets with zippers that connect the pieces around the waist.
  • glove: A long, high-top (gauntlet) style leather boot with strong protective guards.
  • Boots: Motorcycle riding boots that cover the ankle up to the shin.
  • Back protector: Provides added support and safety for the spine (if available).

3. Flag signals in a race.

Every rider must remember this: "For their own safety and the safety of others."“

  • White flag: There are ambulances and rescue vehicles on the track.
  • Blue flag: Give way to the truck.
  • Red flag: End of lap / Return to pit lane.
  • Yellow flag: Exercise extreme caution. Do not overtake.
  • Yellow and red striped flag: The field surface is slippery; exercise extra caution.
  • Green flag: Track clear, rideable as normal.
  • Checkered flag: Race over. Slow down, prepare to enter the pit.

4. The car was not brought into the starting grid in time.

If a driver misses the pit lane open period and the pit lane is closed, they will forfeit their right to park on the grid entirely, regardless of whether they arrive in time for the warm-up (formation lap) or not.

  • The racer's status will change to "PIT LANE START"." As soon as the pit lanes close, drivers must start from the pit exit, regardless of their qualifying position (pole position).
  • Warm-up Lap (Formation Lap): When the other cars on the grid begin their warm-up laps, cars waiting in the pit lane are "not" allowed to run with the others. Drivers must park at the pit exit (with team staff allowed to assist).
  • Release timing:
    • On the grid: All cars return to their original parking spots > Red light goes out > Race begins.
    • In Pittlane: You must wait for the "last" car that started from the grid to pass the pit exit before the track official (MARSHAL) will allow you to start.

5. Install transponder / Inspect vehicle condition.

  • Before the race, attach the transponder at the vehicle inspection point: Racers must have their cars fitted with transponders and undergo inspections according to the schedule set by officials prior to the race.
  • Race ended. Return the transponders at the vehicle inspection point. After the race, the cars must be taken to the inspection point, and the transponders must be returned there before returning to the pit.
  • If a racer fails to bring their car through the checkpoint, the penalty is: If a racer fails to bring their car to the inspection point after the race, the car will be considered to have failed the post-race inspection and will be penalized at the discretion of the race director.

6. Meeting / Photo shoot with the racers.

Meeting to discuss and agree on the rules.

  • All participants are encouraged to attend the riders' briefing this morning to learn about the rules and other information that the track officials will provide.
  • If a racer does not attend the meeting held in the morning before the race, the officials will consider them not to have the right to protest, under any circumstances.
  • For racer profile photos, we recommend that all racers gradually come to the registration room on the 1st floor from Friday to Saturday so that you can have cool photos for the competition on Sunday, which will be broadcast live.

7. Why should there be a lower chest protector/sticker?

  • Fluid retention: If the engine is damaged and engine oil or coolant leaks, the lower pane will act as a "tray" to prevent the fluid from flowing onto the track.
  • Oil absorbent sponge: Fire-resistant sponges are often placed inside to help absorb oil and prevent it from splashing out when the vehicle is cornering.
  • Preventing secondary accidents: If oil spills onto the track surface, vehicles following at high speed will immediately lose control and fall (high side), potentially leading to serious accidents.
  • Standard capacity: According to FIM regulations, the underbody reservoir must have a capacity of at least 3-5 liters (depending on the vehicle type) to hold sufficient fluid for all the engine oil in the engine.

Applying stickers

In 2026, to maintain consistency, the organizers would like to request everyone to attach the sticker they received to the front of their vehicle (where it is clearly visible).

  • Rehearsal Day Stickers (Friday-Saturday): For the event stickers used to categorize participants for the Friday-Saturday driving day, please attach them to the front of your vehicle so that officials can quickly check them before allowing you onto the track.
  • CHECKLIST sticker for inspection: For the CHECKLIST sticker, please attach it to the front of the vehicle (right side) to expedite the inspection process.
  • Racer number stickers: For the racer number sticker, you must use only the number you received (custom-designed numbers are not allowed) and it must be clearly affixed to the center front of the car.

2. Required Documents For registration.

  • 1. Everyone must prepare their National ID card / driver's license or passport (for foreigners) for registration.
  • 2. Applicants must pick up their race car numbers in person.
  • 3. Applicants must personally sign the competition consent form.

If any race car has a fluid leak or a part of the car comes loose that could endanger other racers, the flag bearers at each station will signal with a red flag to the vehicle, instructing it to immediately go off the track and park in a safe area. (Violators will be subject to penalties, including affecting the race results according to the rules, and may be fined as appropriate.)
  3. Every time the time runs out—during practice, qualifying, or the race—a checkered flag will be used to signal the end of the race to all drivers at the finish line.
  4. During practice, qualifying, and races, if the stewards signal with a red flag, drivers must slow down, refrain from overtaking, and return their race car to the pit lane. (Any race car that fails to enter the pit will be fined 2,000 baht per lap.)
  5. When the officials use the yellow flag signal, all racers must reduce speed and are strictly prohibited from overtaking until the green flag signal has passed.
