Race Regulations

Rules and regulations of the competition (select the topic you wish to read)

No personal timing devices New

To ensure the competition meets the same standards and to prevent any unfair advantage among competitors, the organizers have cancelled and will not permit the use of any personal lap timing devices during the competition, including the Qualifying and Race rounds. However, these rules will only apply to competition classes that have a time limit.

The following devices are not permitted:

  • Personal lap timer (All types of modular lap timers)
  • GPS Lap Timer Device (All types of GPS lap time tracking devices)
  • Lap time display device on the vehicle. (A screen or any other device that displays lap times during a competition.)
  • Any other equipment Its purpose is to inform the racers of their lap times during the competition.

In the case of race cars, they often come with a built-in timing system.

If a race car has a lap timing system or display built into the vehicle, the driver must disable it and cover the screen or display area with tape before taking to the track.

Official timings.

Official lap times will be based solely on the Transponders system provided by the race organizers. If it is discovered that a competitor is using a personal lap timing device, the race organizers reserve the right to impose appropriate penalties, such as warnings, ranking adjustments, cancellation of times, or withholding the results of that round. The race organizers' decision is final.

Exceptions to time notifications from the team.

Team members are only permitted to communicate lap times or race information to drivers via the Pit Board or designated team communication areas. This must not disrupt the race, obstruct the Pit Lane/Pit Wall, and strictly adhere to all track safety regulations.

Limit Time Class Adjustment Rule New

For the safety of all competitors and to maintain the appropriate standards of the competition, the organizers reserve the right to adjust the class of competitors based on the lap times recorded from the organizer's Transponders system, subject to the following conditions:

1. Criteria for consideration.

The race organizers will only consider adjusting racer classes based on the best lap results recorded by the organizer's transponders system. Racers must have their vehicles inspected at designated inspection points before each race to ensure compliance with race safety standards.

2. Time period for consideration.

Class adjustments will be considered after the cycle is complete. Qualifying on Saturday. And after it's finished. Race on Sunday The terms and conditions as announced by the competition organizer will be enforced.

3. If a racer achieves a lap time faster than the Limit Time during Saturday's Qualifying session...

If a racer in a class with a time limit achieves a lap time in Saturday's qualifying round faster than the time limit for their respective class, the race organizers have the right to automatically move the racer up to a higher class. And this will immediately affect the competition in the Sunday race at that track.

Riders who are reclassed after the qualifying round will be assigned a new starting position based on their best lap results recorded in the race organizer's transponders system, or as deemed appropriate by the race organizer.

example: If a Class C driver finishes faster than the Class C limit time during Qualifying, they will be automatically promoted to Class B for Sunday's race at that track.

4. If a racer achieves a lap time faster than the Limit Time during Sunday's race...

If a racer in a class with a time limit achieves a lap time in the Sunday race that is faster than the time limit for their class, they will be considered to have failed to meet the criteria for that class, and their race results for that event will be considered accordingly. DNF (Did Not Finish)

Riders who finish faster than the limit time in Sunday's race will be promoted to a higher class in the next race. This class adjustment will be at the discretion and announced by the race organizers.

Riders who are deemed to have DNF (Did Not Finish) due to the aforementioned reasons will not be eligible for any ranking, points, cumulative points, trophies, prizes, cash prizes, or any other benefits in the class they competed in at that event.

example: Class C riders competing in Sunday's race and achieving lap times faster than the Class C limit time will be considered a DNF (Did Not Finish), and the riders will be promoted to Class B for the next race.

5. In the event that a racer does not participate in the Qualifying round on Saturday.

Drivers who did not participate in Saturday's qualifying session will start from the back of the grid in Sunday's race and will have their lap times added to their time. +5 seconds Based on the results after the race on Sunday.

If a competitor is unable to participate in Qualifying due to unforeseen circumstances deemed appropriate by the organizers, the organizers reserve the right to consider waiving or modifying the penalty on a case-by-case basis.

6. Rights to ranking, accumulated points, and podium finishes.

If a rider violates the rules by failing to meet lap times, the race organizers have the right to disqualify the rider from receiving rankings, points, or a podium finish in their original class, in order to prevent future problems and disputes.

7. In case of abnormal delivery times or force majeure.

In the event of timing discrepancies due to timing equipment, field conditions, red flags, rain, or other unforeseen circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to investigate and consider each case individually.

8. Points awarded if a racer is demoted.

In the event that a rider is promoted to a higher class for achieving a lap time faster than the limit time of their previous class, the points they accumulated in their previous class will only follow them to the new class. 50% of total accumulated points.

These accumulated points will be combined with the points earned by riders in the new class starting from the race where the class adjustment occurred. This is to maintain the continuity of the points accumulation and ensure fairness to competitors in the new class.

example: If a racer has accumulated 40 points in Class C and is promoted to Class B, they will carry over 20 points to Class B (equivalent to 50% of their original points).

9. If a racer who has been reclassed wishes to return to compete in their original class.

Riders who achieve a lap time faster than the limit time of their original class will be promoted to a higher class by the race organizers. This class adjustment will remain with the rider for the entire racing season until the end of the season.

If a rider wishes to return to compete in the same class within the same season, they must submit a request to the race organizers for consideration and obtain permission from the race organizers beforehand.

If allowed to return to compete in their original class, the racer must agree to the following conditions:

  • Not eligible to receive any trophies under any circumstances.
  • You are not eligible to receive any prizes, cash prizes, or benefits from the competition.
  • No one is eligible for track points, and all accumulated points from that season will be reset to zero immediately.

The purpose of returning to compete in the same class within the same season is solely to allow riders to participate, and it does not affect prize rankings, points, or any other benefits for that season.

At the end of each racing season, rider status data is reset, and the race organizers will reconsider participation status to allow riders to return to compete in the same class in the following season.

10. Additional requirements.

For clarity. “"Faster than the Limit Time" means... A lap time shorter than the limit, for example, a time of 1.20 minutes, is considered faster than the limit and may result in a class reclass. This class reclass adjustment after Saturday's qualifying round will affect the race on Sunday. If more than one rider does not participate in qualifying, the starting grid will be determined by the race organizers. Riders who are reclassified after qualifying will be reassigned to a new class based on their best lap time.

11. The decision of the competition organizers is final.

Conditions for Participation

  • Participant should have accident insurance.
  • Participants who are drivers must not have consumed alcohol or been intoxicated, or used drugs.
  • For a jump start, a 20-second time adjustment will be added to the race result.

  • The race results will primarily be determined by "transponder lap timing." Forgetting to attach the transponder, or having the transponder detached or damaged, will result in no race results and the racer will be responsible for the resulting damages.
  • No vehicle of any kind is allowed to exceed 30 km/h in the pit lane, and driving against the flow of traffic is strictly prohibited.
  • Driving etiquette: Verbal warning > Position adjustment > No competition result > Disqualified from competing > If any points-scoring class has fewer than 7 participants, the organizers may consider adjusting the schedule, canceling the class, merging it with other classes as deemed appropriate to avoid affecting the annual points standings. Further details will be announced after registration closes.
  • No unauthorized sales or services of any product during the event.
  • In the Time Ranking category, runners must not exceed the time limit. Exceeding the time limit will result in no ranking, points, or podium finishes for that event.

  • Please respect and honor the race sponsors in the event. Participant, Riders or team members who violate or fail to comply with the requirements As mentioned above, will not be allowed to enter the Podium Ceremony or Parcferme.
  • Competitors are required to have their vehicles and riding equipment inspected as specified by the organizers. Competitors must provide their own racing suits, helmets that meet DOT, Snell, and ECE standards, racing gloves, and racing boots.

Changing team name / Transferring to a new racing team.

Riders who change their team name or move to a new team will have all points from previous races cancelled and their overall points will be considered zero.

Changing a team name requires submitting a request for change and obtaining approval from the tournament organizer.

The new team name must not violate the competition's rules regarding trade rights, copyright, and marketing sponsorship guidelines.

Changing racing cars during the season.

Changing race cars is not allowed during the season. Drivers must use the race car registered at the beginning of the season for all races. If a race car is changed during the season, all points from previous races will be forfeited, and the overall score will be considered zero.

Racers can request a car change. The new car must meet the original requirements, which include:

  • Same model
  • Same year (Model Year)
  • Engine specifications and displacement (cc) remain the same.

To comply with the technical and safety requirements of the competition, and to maintain the same standards for all participants, riders must use only Pirelli tires for Friday's practice, Saturday's track day/qualifying, and Sunday's race. *Except in cases where Pirelli does not have that specific tire size available.

Competition

  • The number of laps for each race category is as specified in the program for each venue, as announced by the organizer.
  • When releasing the starter, the ignition system works; the red light stays on and then goes out.
  • Flag signals: Competitors must undergo training on the flag signals to be used or sign a document outlining such requirements to acknowledge them.
  • In time-ranked events, competitors must not exceed the time limit. Running faster than the allotted time will result in no ranking, no points, and no podium finish for that event.

There will be no debating this rule. Should a crash occur during a passing manoeuvred, the rider making the pass is the person who will be held responsible for any issues happening before, during and after the pass as the rider ahead cannot see the on coming rider who is passing.

Should a crash situation arise during a pass, the (offending) passing rider may be asked to load up and leave the facility - NO REFUNDS. NOTE: If a rider is hit by another rider and crashes he will not be penalized and may return to the track if able to do so.

There will be no debating this rule. Should a crash occur during a passing manoeuvred, the rider making the pass is the person who will be held responsible for any issues happening before, during and after the pass as the rider ahead cannot see the on coming rider who is passing.

Class adjustments will be considered after the Qualifying round on Saturday and will take effect as announced by the race organizers.

3. If a racer achieves a lap time faster than the limit time for the class they are competing in.

If a racer in a class with a time limit finishes a lap faster than the set time, the race organizers have the right to automatically move the racer up to a higher class.

example: If a Class C racer exceeds the Class C limit time, they will be automatically promoted to Class B.

4. In the event that a racer does not participate in the Qualifying round on Saturday.

Riders who did not participate in Saturday's qualifying session will start from the back of the grid in Sunday's race and will have 5 seconds added to their race time after the race on Sunday.

6. In case of abnormal delivery times or force majeure.

In the event of timing discrepancies due to timing equipment, field conditions, red flags, rain, or other unforeseen circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to investigate and consider each case individually.

7. Additional requirements.

For clarity, "breaking the Limit Time" means achieving a lap time shorter than the specified time. For example, if the Limit Time is 1.20 minutes, and a rider finishes in 1.19 minutes, it is considered faster than the Limit Time and may result in a class penalty. This class penalty after Saturday's Qualifying round will affect the Race on Sunday. If more than one rider does not participate in Qualifying, the starting grid will be determined by the race organizers. Riders who are penalized after Qualifying will be reassigned to a new class based on their best lap time.

This is to maintain the continuity of the points accumulation and ensure fairness to competitors in the new class.

example: If a racer has accumulated 40 points in Class C and is promoted to compete in Class B. Riders will carry over 20 points to Class B, or 50% of their original points.

9. The decision of the competition organizer.

The decision of the competition organizers is final.

Only the Transponders system provided by the race organizer will be used for timing. If it is discovered that a competitor is using a personal lap timing device, the race organizer reserves the right to consider imposing appropriate penalties, such as warnings, ranking adjustments, cancellation of times, or withholding the results of that round. The race organizer's decision is final.

Exceptions to time notifications from the team.
